BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) is a program with the aim of supporting sustainable cotton production. Conditions for further processing do not exist. The label focuses on the use of pesticides, water consumption, soil protection, product quality and social issues. Therefore, BCI represents an improvement compared to conventional growing.
Cotton made in Africa is an initiative by the Aid by Trade Foundation. It improves the living conditions of African small farmers through help for self-help.
Fairtrade makes a sustainable difference: All cotton was grown by Fairtrade producers, certified according to Fairtrade standards and traded. Fairtrade promotes better working and living conditions for cotton producers as well as environmental protection. This is because a portion of the price is invested in social, environmental and economic development projects.

FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) was founded in order to ensure sustainable forest use.
Since September 2020, we have been certified in the product area of cellulose-based synthetic fibers, which also includes viscose and lyocell/tencel.
Specific requirements adapted to the environmental, economic and social conditions of each country ensure sustainable forest use with traceability from tree to yarn.
We are proud to offer certified recycled yarn, especially cotton and polyester yarn, as part of the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification. This is another major step we are taking to make the textile industry more sustainable. Under the Global Recycled Standard, the supply chain is fully traceable from the raw material source to the end product. This means that the certified yarn contains at least 20% recycled fibers, and environmental and social criteria are taken into account.
IVN BEST covers the entire production chain in terms of ecology and social responsibility and demands the highest requirements in textile ecology currently achievable by today's standards.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an established international standard and global benchmark for environmental and social compatibility in textiles.
