Who we are and what we do

Headquartered in Leutershausen (near Ansbach/Nuremberg) TVU Group is a strong partner to many internationally renowned weaving mills, knitting factories and manufacturers of technical and medical textiles.Our origins date back to 1922, when the (great) grandparents of the current company owners dyed yarns in simple vats in the Sudetenland (in Asch, present-day Czech Republic). TVU Group has done business under its current name since 1974, initially at its sites in Wuppertal and Leutershausen. Since 2008 the Yarn Finishing and Yarn Trading have been sited only in Leutershausen.

The TVU Textilveredlungsunion is at the forefront of the bobbin yarn dyeing sector in Germany. We dye staple fibre and filament yarns (flat and textured) from virtually all textile raw materials and blends.

TVU Yarn Trade specialises in the trading of cotton yarns and blends. But we are also sure to be of help if you are looking for something else. We will be happy to develop bespoke products with you.
